Yes that's right, 14, and 7 are playable. Three of these characters were announced just today. Fi, Ghirahim, and The Imprisoned. All from the most recent home console installment to the series, The Legend of Zelda: Skyward Sword. Players can take control of two coordinating Heroes through the Gamepad. All 14 characters are as follows: Link Hero - Playable Confirmed Link will use his famous sword, shield, bombs, bow, and other various weapons to fight his new enemies. In addition to his green tunic and hat, Link is seen wearing a blue scarf for this title. Zelda Hero - Playable Confirmed The princess raises her sword and fights alongside Link to save her kingdom from Cia's attacks. She wields both a sword and her signature Light Arrows against the evil forces. Midna Hero - Playable Confirmed The feisty Twilight Princess returns to aid her old allies against Cia and her armies. Her strange matter-manipulation powers allow her to crush and disrupt her enemies. Fi Hero - Playable Confirmed Fi is the spirit of the Goddess Sword in The Legend of Zelda: Skyward Sword. Screens from Hyrule Warriors depict her using mass-attack spells and embodying the sacred blade, dealing damage to the area in a radius around herself as she transforms. Agitha Hero - Playable Confirmed The bug collecting princess from Twilight Princess joins the heroes of Hyrule. Agitha magically invokes the powers of insects, from arrays of light butterflies to huge summoned rhinoceros beetles. Impa Hero - Playable Confirmed Impa has been a supporting character in a number of Zelda titles, usually as Zelda's loyal bodyguard. The incarnation of Impa presented in Hyrule Warriors is a fierce blade-wielding warrior. She will be a playable protagonist alongside Link. She is the captain of the Hyrule Guard. Lana] Hero - Playable Confirmed A new character, Lana controls the powers of sorcery. Armed with a huge spellbook, she uses the leaves of her enchanted tome as mystical weapons to charm, bedazzle, and destroy her enemies. Ghirahim Enemy Skyward Sword's arrogant villain returns in Hyrule Warriors. The self-important and cocky Ghirahim continues to plot against Link and Zelda, wielding his distinctive black blade in battle. Zant Enemy Zant, the villain in The Legend of Zelda: Twilight Princess, returns to fight alongside Cia in her nefarious plot. Zant is a master of both magic and physical combat. Cia Enemy The primary villain of the Hyrule Warriors story, Cia is an evil witch that used to fight for good. Her main motives for kidnapping Princess Zelda is because she wants Link for herself. Cia has apparently been possessed by an evil force bent on global domination. Wizro Enemy Wizro is a dark sorcerer. His one red eye indicates a nonhuman or supernatural origin. He originally started out as a ring absorbing power from its many users. More recently transformed into a sorcerer who swore allegiance to Cia. He resembles the classic Poe Collector. Valga Enemy Valga is a fierce fighter wielding a dragon claw as a weapon. He is also shown with a flaming staff. With his many similarities, some theorize that he is the human form of Valvagia from Ocarina of Time. Valga is a flame-wielding battle-sorcerer and melee warrior. Noted for his aggression, Valga appears to be a straightforward enemy. Argorok Enemy Argorok is a huge fire-breathing, armored dragon. His sheer mass makes him a formidable foe, and his mastery of flame makes him a threat not just to heroes, but to armies. His origins are found in Twilight Princess. The Imprisoned Enemy The Imprisoned is a massive, bile-spewing serpent. Much of his body appears to be concealed underground, but even the upper sections are colossal. He returns to the series from an appearance in The Legend of Zelda: Skyward Sword. Stay tuned to TVG for more details.
