Nintendo has managed to get Mario Kart 8 to perform at full hd (1080p) at 60 frames-per-second.

“The game’s visuals are beautiful, 1080p and 60fps even in two-player split-screen, while new characters and weapons such as the Piranha Plant keep things feeling fresh amongst otherwise familiar surroundings.”

Mario Kart 8 has been in development since back in 2008 when Mario Kart Wii was released. Thanks to the new technology provided by the Wii U, Nintendo has managed to make it a graphical behemoth.

And I'm actually really considering getting this game now. Everything I see from it looks astounding, and I'd like to have another game to play online.
